Miller, timber framer, creative, veteran, all around funny guy.
Terry is a member of Timber Framers of North America. He has traveled all over the United States and world to build. Bear’s Mill is a timber frame structure, and so is the barn house where he and Julie reside. He recently collaborated with other carpenters in building a covered bridge on the Bear’s Mill property.
In the late 1970’s Terry and Julie purchased a working historic gristmill. Through books and trial and error, Terry taught himself how to operate 1849 machinery, grind grain, and preserve a historic building.
Terry served as a tunnel rat in the Army during Vietnam War. Once settled into his life in Greenville, Ohio, he dedicated a Vietnam Veteran memorial and bridge on the Mill property.
